Isaiah chapter 28:
10–For precept must be upon precept, precept upon precept; line upon line, line upon line; here a little, and there a little.
Matthew chapter 7:
8–For everyone who keeps asking will receive, and the person who keeps searching will find, and the person who keeps knocking will have the door opened.
Romans chapter 5:
19–For as through the one man’s DISOBEDIENCE (Adam) the MANY were made sinners, even so through the OBEDIENCE of the One (man, Jesus) the MANY will be made righteous. Righteousness is the gift of God, Romans 3:21-24, Ephesians 2:8-10.
All those who call upon the NAME OF THE LORD will be saved, Acts 2:21, Romans 10:12-13. The NAME OF THE LORD here means His Reputation, His historical person, who He was and is and what He said and did, John 15:10. Luke 24:45-47 is the SAVING provision of the NAME OF THE LORD.
THE ROAD TO PHILADELPHIA.
2Peter chapter 1:
1–Simon Peter, a servant and an apostle of Jesus Christ, to them that have obtained like precious faith with us through the righteousness of our God and Savior Jesus Christ. 2–Grace and peace be multiplied unto you through the KNOWLEDGE OF GOD and of JESUS OUR LORD. 3–According as His divine power hath given unto us all things that pertain unto life and godliness, through the knowledge of him that hath called us to glory and virtue: 4–Whereby are given unto us exceeding great and precious promises: that by these ye might be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust. These people are saved but they are directed to conform themselves to Righteousness by copying the Divine nature as measured by the 10 commandments, see verses 5 to 7. When we are born again we have two natures. One is the old person of the flesh that is self serving and the NEW NATURE that wants to follow God. At any given time we will follow one nature or the other AS THEY MOVE IN OPPOSITE DIRECTIONS WITH DIFFERENT OBJECTIVES. Our regenerated spirit wants to gain control and we are being directed here to do so. God has provided 1John 1:9 for us when we fail. The cleansing portion of 1John 1:9 gives us discipline when necessary, Hebrews chapter 12. God does not get mad at us but administers discipline as a course correction. Christians who refuse to repent can find themselves under severe discipline even DYING MORTAL DEATH, 2Corinthians 12:21. This is not to be confused with the testing of our faith, James 1:1-4. The difference would be found by self examination as the Prophet Job did. Job had done no wrong but was used as an example to others and in the process gained much knowledge and blessing. His friends, except for Elihu were very misinformed but were protected from the WRATH OF GOD by the intercession of Job, JOB 42:7-8, an example of us praying for others. 5–And beside this, giving all diligence, add to your faith virtue (moral Character); and to virtue knowledge; 6–And to knowledge temperance (self control); and to temperance patience (endurance, perseverance); and to patience godliness; 7–And to godliness brotherly kindness (Philadelphia); and to brotherly kindness charity (agape, love) Brotherly kindness here is “Philadelphia” in English and has the same root word and meaning as the Church at “Philadelphia” in Revelation 3:7
THE CHURCH AT PHILADELPHIA.
Revelation chapter 3:
7–And to the angel of the church in Philadelphia write; These things saith he that is holy, he that is true, he that hath the key of David, he that openeth, and no man shutteth; and shutteth, and no man openeth, Revelation 3:12 below; 8–I know thy works: behold, I have set before thee an open door, and no man can shut it: for thou hast a little strength, and HAST KEPT MY WORD AND HAST NOT DENIED MY NAME, Revelation 21:21-27, Philippians 3:20-21, N.A.S.B. 9–Behold, I will make them of the synagogue of Satan, which say they are Jews, and are not, but do lie; behold, I will make them to come and worship before thy feet, and to know that I have loved thee.
Spiritual Israel, not national Israel!
Romans chapter 2:
28–For he is not a Jew who is one outwardly; neither is circumcision that which is outward in the flesh.
29–But he is a Jew who is one inwardly; and circumcision is that which is of the heart, by the Spirit, not by the letter (of the Law); and his praise is not from men, but from God.
The BODY OF CHRIST, has no nationality, gender or worldly status, Galatians 3:27-29. Nationality, gender and worldly status here are of the flesh whereas the BODY OF CHRIST is Spiritual MEANING IT’s MEMBERS are all born again. A false teaching from Preteritism, also called replacement theology, emerged sometime in the early Christian Church and still exist today. They claim that the New Testament Church has replaced National Israel Meaning; the unfulfilled old testament Israeli prophecies will be fulfilled by the Gentile New Testament Church and not by National Israel. They also believe that time wise we are in the 19th chapter of the book of the Revelation. They allegorise, spiritualise the scriptures not looking for literal fulfillment of Scripture such as the 1000 year reign of Jesus Christ or even His second coming. The effect of this is to deny the PRETRIBULATION rapture of the Christian Church and to deny Israels rightful place in Bible Prophecy and History. When the BODY OF CHRIST is Raptured, Revelation 4:1, Hebrews 11:5 some time near the beginning of the great tribulation, the last 7 years of rule by ungodly earthly AUTHORITY, then Israel will again be God’s spokes-people, ambassadors on earth to those who inhabit planet earth, Revelation 7:2-4. The New Testament, NEW COVENANT CHURCH began at Pentecost as a Jewish Church and was expanded to include Gentiles, Romans chapter 11 (removal here is loss of illumination, Revelation 2:5). Many claiming to be Christians today do not seem to be illuminated by the Scriptures and in fact could care less. Christianity is the fulfillment of Judaism. Elect gentiles were added to the visible Local Church by the Holy Spirit. Others, unbelievers for advantage sake joined the visible Local Church membership being water baptized but not having the “Spirit of God” as repentance is also required and they crept in unaware, Jude 1:3-4,19. The invisible Church THE BODY OF CHRIST has no ethnicity (Nationality) or gender because it is a “Spiritual body, Church” with Christ, Ephesians 4:11-15 the head of the body and contains only those born of God who are regenerated and spirit baptized by the Spirit of God. The visible Local Church such as the 7 churches of Revelation chapter two and chapter three have believers, marginal believers, and unbelievers. The members are water baptized or sprinkled into the membership. There are Godly Pastors and Evangelists and Teachers and Faithful Saints in some, many or most of these visible local churches. They are also born again and as mature believers they add stability and objectivity to the Local Church being also members of the BODY OF CHRIST. You cannot tell the players without a program as they say and the Bible is the program when rightly, accurately divided, understood, 2Timothy 2:15, John 7:17. The Church is and always has been under the Melchizedek priesthood with the one time offering and resurrection of Jesus, the LAMB OF GOD. The visible local church at Philadelphia received no rebuke nor were they under persecution making it the ideal or best type of visible Local Church.

Revelation chapter 3:
10–Because thou hast kept the word of my patience (see 2Peter 1:6 above), I also will keep thee from the hour of temptation, (specifically the Great Tribulation) which shall come upon all the world, to try them that dwell (Philippians 3:15-21, N.A.S.B or I.S.V.B) upon the earth. 11–Behold, I come quickly: hold that fast which thou hast, that no man take thy crown. 12–Him that overcometh will I make a pillar in the temple of my God, and he shall go no more out (the meaning here is permanent position but not restriction of time and space): and I will write upon him the name of my God, and the name of the city of my God, which is the NEW JERUSALEM, which cometh down out of heaven from my God: and I will write upon him my new name. 13–He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches, Romans 11:7-8, Isaiah 29:9-16.
